"You just wrecked a train," said Swami Nitty-Gritty.

"What?!? By gesturing with my hand?" I asked.

"Yes."

"Was anyone killed?"

"No, but the engineer was injured."

<>

Nitty-Gritty even named the railroad. (I didn't write it down.)

And you thought 5G is an issue!

I used to buy round-trip tickets on Greyhound to just about anywhere.

My second longest trip was 7,000 miles round trip — Santa Barbara to Caribou, Maine, and back again, just sitting on the bus all the while.

I wrote the first draft of Butterflies Need No Taxidermist while on this ride.

A tourist was kind enough to take my photo on top of the Empire State Building.

Our bus had a flat tire just before entering Portland. Lucky for us because angry strikers turned over a Greyhound bus that arrived on time. We just encountered scattered strikers hitting the sides of the bus with their picket signs.

I'd like to think it was because I was eating On Time.

"Where would you put love? The heart is an output chakra. There's a difference between love which comes from the heart and emotional attachment which comes from the second chakra. It's no accident that pubic hair looks like Velcro."
