The Turbaned Tornado (Fauja Singh) started running at 89 and began breaking records. He's still alive and running every day (although not professionally any more) at 107 revolutions around the Sun. He has a closet filled with spiffy suits and he loves to date the ladies.

I also knew 80-something-revs Gypsy Boots and his 18-year-old girlfriend. He was younger than she.

Vibrant Gal knew Beatrice Wood, who was alive and thriving till 105. Vibrant Gal took her class on a tour of Beatrice's house and her very sensual statues. Beatrice said she owed her amazing youth to "chocolate and young men."

Age is more Hallmark Card Disease than anything else. Get thee behind me, Dr. Kevorkian; do not go gently into that good night — the light at the end of the tunnel is a bug zapper!

The light at the end of the tunnel is not Jyot; it's Nataraj = NOT TO ROT <3

The ivory-towered Harvard faculty (ZIP Code 02138) still falsely believes saturated fat is "a known culprit in raising heart disease risk."
