I immersed myself in Jungian approximations until I wised up and realized Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) knew more about trauma than Carl Jung (1875-1961).

Most people are too busy dealing with SEX, DEATH, POWER, and/or CHANGE to ever get around to having Jungian-style traumas.

Freud’s biggest boo-boo was trying to integrate traumas into the System, but Erich Fromm (1900-1980) and others knew better.

The foundations of “Freudian psychology” were laid prior to Freud by Jean-Martin Charcot (1825-1893), Hermann Ebbinghaus (1850-1909), Pierre Janet (1859-1947), and others.

So-called “Freudian dream analysis” was originated by Wilhelm Stekel (1868-1940).
