Re: You said cold liquid or food slows or prevents absorption of nutrients, so ... ice cream doesn’t count?!?

The nutrients absorb ... and the extra gaseous pressure.

Ice cream is great for folks like me who want to gain weight.

I even drink most of my coffee cold.

Re: Do you remember details for boiling a three minute orange, when, why, and for how many days?

Place a room-temperature orange in room-temperature water, and bring the water to a rolling boil.

Let it boil for three minutes, then "carefully" remove the orange, peel it, and eat it as soon as possible.

The reason Adano used the word "carefully" is because someone burned themselves reaching into the boiling water, with their hand, and blamed Adano!

Adano advised boiling the orange at Spleen-Pancreas Time, and it was recommended as a daily process.

It was to prevent bruising and for healing varicose veins, according to Adano.

I had a martial artist friend who was skeptical, but he admitted it worked for bruises.

Room-temperature oranges have done miracles for me.

Seven or eight physiological insults — including edema, petechiae, easy bruising, and bleeding gums — are history. (knocks on wood)

Re: What can be done for aphasia caused by a stroke?

Sugar is the brain's best friend, and omega 3 fatty acids are its worst enemy.

Bag breathing at least a few times a day helps stroke recovery, especially when done in the evening.

Ray Peat has had good results with baking soda.

Hyperbaric treatments with CARBOGEN (3 1/2%) are therapeutic.

Standard hyperbaric treatments are counterproductive. They cause lesser or greater brain damage in healthy people.

Carbogen was once used routinely by medical doctors, but now it's not.
