Petechiae are pinpoint, round spots that appear on the skin as a result of bleeding.

The bleeding causes the petechiae to appear red, brown or purple.

I began getting petechiae in the late 1990s and the easy bruising was more recent.

No more petechiae since I starting eating oranges every day back in 2015 or 2016 ... and stopped eating tuna and mayo.]]></description>
