Adano, Betí Monk, Glynda Kinney, & Shirley Kinder drove me to Hobby Field for my flight back to California.

My parting remark was, “Adano, there is so much Darshan, I don’t need a plane to fly home.”

He dropped me off and drove off slower than a person could walk.

It was one of those unforgettable moments in time.

“Adano just gave me Darshan with his hand!” I exclaimed.

“Darshan is from the eyes,” Melissa said. “You can’t give Darshan with the hands.”

“Well, he just did it!” I countered.

Adano rounded the corner, and we both walked thirty or forty feet to watch him depart.

Two blocks away, Adano’s hand extended out the window and ever-so-slowly waved back and forth with Darshan.

“See, I told you so!” I exclaimed.

Melissa could never figure out what Darshan was. She took more than several close-up photos (I still have them) of him giving her Darshan.

Strangely though, when Melissa was in Adano’s presence, she could REFLECT his Darshan in her eyes, but she couldn’t RETAIN it.

Hugo Conti was Darshan-blind too, but he would smell whatever malted milk Adano would inhale from the “other side.” Hugo would excitedly yell, “Strawberry!!!” or “Vanilla!!!” as the case might be.

Do you suppose there’s a Third Nose as well as a Third Eye?

A — Convex vision.

An adept develops projective vision. One glance can kick-start the healing process in other people.

We all have projective vision, but, if we don’t know we have it, we can’t use it, as Rupert Sheldrake often points out.

A — Adano explained, “The artist received Darshan, but didn’t know how to portray it, so he painted the eyes big and round.”

Q — That’s fascinating that he gave different types of Darshan a representation of the different masters. What does that mean?

A — According to Adano, every Master’s Darshan is composed of a specific array of brainwaves.

When Margaret Berry and Adano divorced, I thought he had ceased giving Initiations. When I discovered otherwise, he replied, “There are Masters of Sonics, Masters of Air, Masters of Fire, Masters of Water, and Masters of Earth.”

I’ve semi-concluded that there IS some kind of “political” ranking of Masters INDEPENDENT of their actual abilities.

Adano claimed he was assigned the role of Sergeant, and pointed me in the direction of the Generals, but I always returned and told him, “I’m not falling for it.”

I did it in Houston with tears in my eyes. Adano made a token protest, then slapped me on the chest and said, “But do what your heart tells you!”

It’s a great joy to be on the tail of the kite.

James and Rebecca Mantell, Melissa Wolfe, Adano Ley (Swami Nitty-Gritty), and I visited Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s Calabasas HQ at Camelot (before she and her group and James and Rebecca relocated to Montana).

Adano pointed to a large portrait of Koot Hoomi, asking me, “Do you recognize the eyes?”

The next day (Sunday) at Hugo Conti’s condo in Carpinteria, Adano demonstrated the personal Darshan signatures of Koot Hoomi, Charan Singh, Thakar Singh, Yogananda, Yukteswar, and his own … one after the other, what a RUSH!

He concluded with ordinary delta, theta, alpha, and beta brainwaves, providing a soft landing.

What kind of Master is qualified to do such a thing? And CAN effortlessly do it?

Where does Adano belong if there really is some kind of hierarchy of higher consciousness?

Is there a cosmic ranking?

Or, is it just that we were lucky enough to be “on the tail of the kite,” and, “The sheep shall know their shepherd, and the shepherd shall know his sheep”?
