Edward R. Dewey (1895-1978) and Og Mandino, co-authors of Cycles: The Mysterious Forces That Trigger Events, made millions using cycles.

Dewey was the founder of the Foundation for the Study of Cycles and Cycles magazine (with W. Clement Stone).

Og Mandino (1923-1996), author of the The Greatest Salesman in the World, made his fortune with cycles.

So did W. Clement “all I want to do is change the world” Stone (1902-2002), who contributed $10 million to Nixon’s presidential campaign.

So did Napoleon Hill (1883-1970), co-author (with W. Clement Stone, of Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude.

AIR (Wood) (Crescent Moon)— Energy acting on Energy.
ETHER (Metal) (Sun) — Consciousness acting on Energy.

In 1976, I discovered that this star-shaped diagram is flawed — the positions of “Metal” and “Wood” are reversed.

The authors of Five Elements and Ten Stems: Nan Ching Theory, Diagnostics and Practice (1983) made the same discovery. That’s why some U.S. acupuncture schools have “thrown the baby out with the bathwater.”
