Q — What if you're getting age spots but have no pufa or fish oils?

A — It's impossible to eat an omega-3-free diet. But you can MINIMIZE omega 3s.

However, food and herbs aren't the only way to acquire toxic fatty acids.

Exposure to ionizing radiation will force your body to manufacture them. Extreme stress and hypnosis are two other ways.

Q — Surfing is about as repetitive as I get. The only quote I recall from Arnold Schwarzenegger is the key to building big muscles is to keep the muscles guessing.

A — Arnold got that one straight-up right. I admire surfers because they definitely keep their muscles guessing due to the vagaries of sets and breaks.

Despite living in California since 1955, the closest I ever got to surfing was advising surf legend Tom Curren about what free-form amino acids to take.

I've known some of the greatest martial artists in the world, including Jack Hebert of Beaumont, Texas, who mostly taught in secrecy. He practiced moving faster than the eye could track.

One of his students was Jimmy Girouard, inventor and builder of the Jimmy John III colonic machine. Jimmy could karate-chop through eight bricks with no spacers in between ... but he could never beat Jack in combat.

I saw Jimmy kick a heavy bag to the ceiling of his garage. (It put his back out, which is how I got to meet his chiropractor.) Jack could do the same thing with his lower leg.

I also knew a French Foreign Legion military assassin who only used his fingers. If I remember correctly, he broke his fingers over 80 times.

I was kept after school a lot in the late 1940s and early 1950s. When the teacher told me to use my head, I banged it on my desk and asked, "Like this?"

It was almost impossible for me to sit still — still a big problem when I meditate.

That's why I preferred Sufi Work, dancing and exercising for hours and hours without stopping.
