We ordered peach pie covered with whipped cream. Both women plastered the creamy pie-covering all over their pretty faces.

Naturally, I asked why they were doing it.

“Adano told us to eat the peaches and apply the cream to our face for a peaches and cream complexion,” was the reply.

“Well, if you can’t lick ‘em, join ‘em,” I commented, smearing whipped cream over my cheeks.”
